Magnetite Sand Separation Plant

Magnetite Sand Deposit

Magnetite, like hematite, is a form of iron ore. It is a benign and highly magnetic substance used primarily in steel manufacturing and coal washing. Magnetite occurs in nearly all igneous and metamorphic rocks and usually only in small particles or in a solution with other minerals. Some beaches, often called black sand beaches, contain heavy magnetite deposits. Magnetite sand deposits are found in Uruguay, Sweden, Australia, United State, Norway, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, South Africa, India, Mexico etc.

Magnetite Sand Beneficiation Equipment

Magnetite Sand beneficiation is the production process to upgrade iron concentrate. Many different techniques are involved in the process, such as crushing and grinding; washing; sorting; sizing; gravity concentration; magnetic separation; flotation; and agglomeration (pelletizing, sintering, briquetting, or nodulizing).

SBM has been specialized in iron and magnetite separation technology for several decades. We always aim to provide high advanced equipment and create more wealth for customers. We developed complete range of magnetite sand beneficiation equipment for sale including jaw crusher, impact crusher, cone crusher, ball mill, high pressure mill, sand washing machine, vibrating screen and feeder, filtering machine, gravity separator, magnetic separator, flotation separator, thickener, dryer, belt conveyor etc.

Magnetite Sand Separation Plant

Because magnetite is the most magnetic of all the naturally occurring minerals on earth, it is generally separated by magnetic separation method. Magnetic separation machine is widely applied in tramp iron removal, concentration of ferromagnetic and paramagnetic minerals. Magnetic separation is based on the different magnetic properties of minerals. In general, minerals can be divided into three groups according to their magnetic characteristics: diamagnetics, paramagnetics or ferromagnetics. SBM provides high quality magnetite sand separation plant. If you are interested, please contact us for more information.
